7w5d

Well last night while driving home from picking my daughter up at work, I had another huge bleed. Once I got home and went to the bathroom I had passed more clots and even more blood this time verses last week. It was 10 at night so I debated on calling paging system for my doctor or just leaving a message with the clinic. I finally decided to call the paging system. They were able to get me in this morning for another u/s.

The hoppers are alive and still growing!!!

Hopper "A" is measuring 8w0d and has a heartbeat of 167bpm.
Hopper "B" is measuring 7w6d and has a heartbeat of 170bpm.

Best news is, he was able to find a SCH. Now knowing there is an active bleed that has been seen on the u/s makes me feel SO much better. It is measuring 19mm.

Sac 3 is still there and growing. The yolk sac on it hasn't grown any though.

Do any of you know about gestational sacs? My sac for hopper "a" is measuring 9w3d this week. Last week it was measuring the exact same date as baby (which was 7w0d).

Here is a picture of the Hoppers! Almost made it to eight weeks! This is a new record and babies are still with me.

  4. Perfection, absolute perfection! So sorry about the bleed, how scary! I don't know anything about gestational sacs, but my sac looks MUCH larger compared to baby, so hopefully that is normal :)

    1. Thanks for your input on sacs. I guess most people I asked didn't have their sacs measured after early u/s.

  9. Did you reduce your lovenox? When I had it, and it was a minor bleeding, I was on baby aspirin and lovenox, I think 40mg twice a day. I stopped the aspirin and the bleeding stopped.
great news about the little fighters! God willing, you will make it!

  11. Boooo to your SCH. I had one and it ended up not being a big deal so just take it easy so that you don't have any more bleeding! Glad the Hoppers are still doing great! :-)

  14. I have a question regarding your Ivig infusion. You mentioned that you had more saline added after the side-effects had occurred. I am also using the Ivig and had some joint and knee pain. When I mentioned to my Dr about this, he said it wasn't their practice to add it and in addition, how could it be added. So, I would like to ask you how they did with you -how did they administrate saline along with Ivig? Thank you and good lucks with the babies:)

    1. I hope I understood your question correctly. I have a separate bag of saline with a second line going in. They also have added another pump. So basically I have the one bag of IVIG with its own line and pump and then a bag of saline with its own line and pump. I hope that helps! I know I haven't had a bad reaction since we started administering this way, but I also have cut down on my grams of IVIG from 25 grams and this week I will be going up to 15 grams.

  15. My dose is 30mg and then, based upon blood results we will see if I need it again. So, from your description, does it mean that you had 2 needles in your arms, one for saline, another one for ivig?

    1. There are two lines that go into a connector at the end and it is just the one needle in my vein. I will post a picture of the whole set up on Friday morning so you can get a better picture.
