challenge accepted. I like to think that I do this on a fairly regular basis, however last Saturday was the anniversary of the Newtown massacre and I tried to do 26 RAOF (random acts of kindness) in the days leading up to the anniversary. One for every single senseless loss of life that sad sad day. I like your thinking!
It keeps things in perspective! We are so very very blessed and sometimes it's hard to remember that. Those are the times its more important to remember!
The amazing Teresa at Where the bleep is our Stork has tons of great ideas for this. She posted a great post about doing selfless things this holiday season for others. check out her ideas. she is amazing.
Love it. Will try to do it once a week actually. Not sure if this counts, but today we'll be sending a gift basket to the family of our dear friend who passed away last year. We've already surpassed what we planned to spend on gifts, but I can't NOT send them a gift. They lost their son, and I will go hungry if it means making sure they get a gift!
Yes, Count me in!! I will report back but I think I already started this.... at birth... I am a good deeder 4LIFE - I believe that you do good and good will come to you. Oh today though, my friend lost her driver Lic and I am picking her up today and then bringing her to dinner with me tonight! And the SIL that I have issues with I am taking her to dinner too!!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I try to do this often also and keep a reminder that there are so many people out there that aren't as blessed as I am. You rock!

ReplyDeleteI definitely think that counts. It is nice to know that you are still in the thoughts of friends, especially after a loss.
