Beta # 4

Sorry it is so late in the day. I know that some of you have been waiting on this number...........

...................................HCG was 7040

Doubling time of 45 hours which is absolutely amazing when levels are this high.

My first u/s is going to be next Monday at 3:30. They said if I start to freak out before then that I can come in on Friday and have one, but my doctor won't be in the office and only a nurse practitioner will be there to do it. I feel better just waiting to see my doctor.

Today was my last beta and my last pee stick. For the next week I am working on complete faith that there will be a little baby in there.

  1. Such great news! Your numbers have been so strong I hope that gives you some sense of peace. But I know how nerve wracking this whole thing is. I hope your treatment today went well and you're feeling ok. Can't wait to see the picture of your little one!

  2. Now that is an amazing number!!! I am so excited to see this result and am so impressed with how all of this is going. It adds so much weight to the argument that addressing immune issues with infertility needs to be a priority.

So, over the next week, let's figure out what needs to be done in the lines of distraction/taking it one day at a time. I know this period is a nerve-wreaking one and it's so easy to drive yourself mad. So let us know what we can do to help you stay present/completely take your mind off things.

  3. You have made a wonderful point about immune testing and treatment. Regardless where this pregnancy goes, there is a huge difference that didn't happen in the past three years until I got immune treatment. I believe in my heart that is what has made the difference.

I am going to try my hardest to live stress free this next week and enjoy this pregnancy for as long as I am blessed with it :)

  5. I know it's so hard not to stress.... But I know you can do it. This number is so amazing. I can't even tell you how happy I am for you. I'm so glad that you've pushed and pushed yourself to the limit for this. This is your baby, or babies!!!!! I have such a good feeling about all of this. After all that you have been through. I know the feeling after I had 4 miscarriages and finally got my baby. I know in my heart this is the same for you!!! You must be floating, and having a hard time not smiling!!!!

  7. Yeah I'm not convinced you're done with the pee sticks - you are definitely an addict! But your numbers are great. Try to relax and enjoy your week - you've earned it.
